Nassau Dep’t of Health: Local Beaches CLOSED to Bathing

Most Local Beaches Closed to Bathing

Due to heavy rainfall, the Nassau County Department of Health has closed the following 18 beaches to bathing as a precautionary measure, effective today, July 21, 2012. Storm water runoff can have a negative impact by elevating bacterial levels and affecting bathing water quality.
